FASET has been growing in membership as companies have begun to recognise the benefits of being associated with the high standards represented by the association. All undergo a rigorous audit to ensure management systems are in place. The CSCS Safety Net Rigger card is the only evidence that an operative has undergone extensive training and assessment in the proficiency of fall arrest safety equipment training and has achieved the required industry standard.

CSCS delivers a scheme for industry that confirms individuals working in the built environment have the necessary training and qualifications. The Scheme keeps a database of those working in construction who have achieved, or are committed to achieving, a recognised construction related qualification.

Founded in 1974, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA), is the recognised focus and authority for mobile access towers. As such it advances safety, standards and best practice across a wide range of sectors and represents the interests of manufacturers.

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense — through providing technical advice and information, through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards, through its safety initiatives and training programmes. It is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members who include manufacturers, rental companies, contractors and users.
